Oh my goodness, you are living my dream! Hubby and I have always wanted to live and work there but it was always just too hard. I hope you have a brilliant time there and I can't wait to see all of your pictures and posts about my most favourite city in the world! Lucky things!
Congratulations! What a great opportunity for your family. Is your husband in a managerial position that allows him to be sent to these different locations with the same company?
I'm just curious to find out what industry and position in a company that provides opportunities that have been given to your husband. It is definitely a once in a lifetime experience. But in your family's case, 2x in a lifetime. But might be more in the future.
Congrats! That sounds amazing! My husband is from London and we hope to spend a year or two living there after we have children. Hope you have a brilliant time and I'm sure you'll fit right in with London as it's just Aussie enough to be familiar ;-)
Ooooh I'm so jealous! Congratulations to you and your fam! I wanna hear all about it! Like I've said before, you are living my dream! It seems so exciting to just pack up a few things and have an adventure! :)
Hi Jenny, long time reader of your blog but first time commenter. I'm a Sydneysider currently living in London and read your blog when I get a pang of homesickness for Sydney. I think you and your family will love London. My friends who are mothers and live here in London think it is great for young children. The only downside to London after being in Sydney is the lack of space (no back yards here!) but there are lots of lovely green spaces and parks in London to make up for that.
Best of luck with the move and I look forward to reading all about your new adventures in London!
Hi Jenny! Thanks so much for stopping by today, it's nice to "meet" you. What a fantastic adventure you're on. I love London! We just spent some time there last fall and I can't wait to go back. Cheerio! Jeanne
I'm an Aussie who moved to Lodon in January 2004..I've just stumbled across your blog through Post Of The Month at The Happy Homemaker and it's lovely to read about Australia through another expat's eyes.

My family is also moving to England very soon, and I have never even been. I will be tuning in to read about your parallel adventures!
